Our Story

Fine jewellery, made in Melbourne

WILLIAM ÉDOUARD was founded in Melbourne by jeweller William Drury. Every engagement ring and wedding band begins with an appointment, and William works with each client himself, from the first conversation through to the day they collect their ring.

The maker

A jeweller since 2010

William trained at the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts in San Francisco under master goldsmith Alan Revere, past president of the American Jewelry Design Council, and graduated as both a Jewellery Technician and a Graduate Jeweller, with his work recognised by Alan for its technical excellence.

Today his work is focused on engagement rings and wedding bands designed around each couple, alongside a collection of fine jewellery made to be worn every day.

The process

01

Consultation

Meet William in our Melbourne studio or over a video call to talk through your ideas, budget and stone options.

02

Design

William designs your ring around everything you’ve discussed, and you’ll receive renderings so you can refine every detail before anything is made.

03

Making

Once you’re happy with the design, your ring is made to order, with every diamond and gemstone ethically sourced.

04

Collection

Collect it in person and we’ll check the fit on the spot, with a complimentary resize in the first three months if you need one. If you’re outside Melbourne, we can ship it to you instead.

Made to be worn for a lifetime

Our philosophy

Made to be worn for a lifetime

“Finest craftsmanship, without compromise” has been the cornerstone of WILLIAM ÉDOUARD from the very first piece.

Every piece is made using only the highest quality materials: recycled gold and silver, conflict-free diamonds, and gemstones sourced from members of the Responsible Jewellery Council.

Every engagement ring is also covered by a two-year warranty, with a complimentary resize in the first three months.
